"For in this hope we were saved [by faith]. But hope [the object of] which is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he already sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait eagerly for it with patience and composure."

Hope is something almost every person can relate to. And if you are a follower of Jesus Christ you can also relate to Him as the greatest person to put your hope into. Because he never fails you. He never leaves you. And He loves you, unconditionally.

Through that hope, we want to show you His love with our music and our lives to make you know Him like we do. It's not about religion. It's about having a relationship with God himself; “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.

HOPE started in 2017 by Joakim Sandström and Therése Sandström, a producer and a singer/songwriter who loves Jesus and wants to make their whole lives about Him.
Joakim comes from Gothenburg, and Therése from Örebro, Sweden. They met at the Songwriters Academy of Sweden in Örnsköldsvik the year of 2010, and have ever since partnered up in love, marriage, faith and the calling upon their lives to write music.

Joakim lived his first 4 years in Tanzania where his grandparents had been missionaries for many years.
Back in Sweden Joakim started to get more and more passionate about music and at the age of 12 he bought his first guitar. It was a yellow electric guitar and He also invested in a small Marshall amp. As you can imagine he played a lot of rock on that setup.
After years of playing the guitar, musicproduction caught his attention. He applied to Songwriters Academy of Sweden in 2009.
Thanks to his gift in playing the guitar, he quickly learned the craft of writing songs and he progressed by playing on and producing his friends songs.
Therése started writing her own songs on her moms guitar, and on her grandparents old piano at the age of 10. Her interest in music was also fueled by her Dads wide interest in music and different genres. She grew up listening to everything from Jazz, Classical music, the best of the 60’s, and the pop music of the 90’s.
Writing her own songs was where she felt she could ”get her feelings out”; a place where she could process for example a conflict with a friend or other big feelings and events in her life.
She felt that music was her calling in life and applied to the Songwriters Academy of Sweden in 2010.

The couple has had a personal faith in Christ Jesus their entire lives, but in 2016 they experienced Him in a new way after praying to see more of Him, to know Him better, and to see miracles in this day like in the days of the Bible. He started revealing all of this to them and changed their lives forever. They both agree on that they could never go back to the life they once lived, where He wasn't part of their everyday life.
After an intensive year, songs began to rise from within their hearts, now with words of worship to the Lord; not just empty songs about feelings and cool guitar licks.

This is their focus now; HOPE will carry out songs of joy, praise, hopefulness and truth to a world in starvation for love. Songs to glorify the Name above all Names will be written, released and sung to His glory.
